Rachael de Moravia is a British writer, journalist, and university lecturer. A former Financial Times feature writer, Rachael's arts, culture, business and travel features have appeared in UK and international publications. She has worked as a magazine editor; a broadcast journalist and radio news presenter; and her essays, fiction, poetry, and drama have been published widely, in print and online. She is Senior Lecturer in Journalism at the University of Gloucestershire, and a newspaper reviewer on BBC radio. Her memoir will be published by Unbound in 2019.
Rachael read English Literature at the University of Bristol, and English & Comparative Literary Studies at Occidental College in Los Angeles. She has an MA with distinction in Creative Writing and a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice. Rachael is a member of the Society of Authors, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is currently on sabbatical leave on the East Coast of America.
